Call Pickup
A phone across the office is ringing and the person's away? Call pickup lets you grab that call from your own phone — no dashing across the room.
How to pick up
- Group pickup — dial the pickup code (often *8) to answer any ringing phone in your pickup group.
- Directed pickup — dial the pickup code followed by the ringing extension to grab that specific phone.
The exact codes are on the Feature Codes page and can be tuned by your admin.
Pickup groups
Your admin decides which phones can pick up for each other by putting them in a pickup group — usually a team that sits together, like reception or a sales pod.
